Eimskip starting Friday will slow its Iceland/North America service to a 28-days round voyage, extending the sailing frequency from every 12 days to fixed-day fortnightly.
The changed schedule will start with the departure of the 712-TEU Reykjafoss from Reykjavík on July 18.
The updated service will use two ships with an average capacity of 678 TEUs calling Reykjavík, departure every second Friday; Argentia, every second Thursday; Boston/Everett, every second Monday; Richmond, every second Thursday; Halifax, every second Monday; Argentia, every second Wednesday; and Reykjavik, arrival every second Thursday.
