Da Chan Bay gains link to U.S. West Coast

The first service linking North America to Da Chan Bay, the newest terminal complex in the Port of Shenzhen, made its maiden call over the weekend.   MOL's PSX service will make weekly calls at Da Chan, deploying five vessels with an average capacity of 5,600 TEUs. The PSX port rotation is Xiamen, Da Chan, Hong Kong, Yantian, Oakland, Los Angeles, Oakland and Tokyo. It's the second MOL service to use Da Chan, the farthest north and west terminal in Shenzhen, after an African service was launched in June.   American Shipper
