Singapore Airline Cargo said it has begun scheduled freighter service to three South American cities.
The airline’s new service, which commenced in February, includes stops in Sao Paulo, Quito and Bogota from Singapore’s hub in Brazil.
“We want to assure our customers that it is our plan to make our presence here a permanent one and we will work very closely with relevant authorities with a view to secure the necessary approvals to serve the Latin American markets with scheduled freighter flights,” said Tan Tiow Kor, senior vice president of sales and marketing for SIA.
