Swiss WorldCargo adds Zurich/Shanghai flight

Swiss WorldCargo said it has added a daily nonstop flight between Zurich and Shanghai, using a new Airbus A340-300 connection.   Flight LX189 departs Shanghai at 9:30 a.m. and arrives in Zurich at 3:40 p.m. The return flight LX188 leaves Zurich at 1:05 p.m. and lands in Shanghai at 6:35 a.m. the next morning. The flights will add 36 tons of cargo capacity between the two cities -- 18 in each direction.   "Swiss exports to China increased 35 percent over the last three years and imports to Switzerland from China increased 16 percent in 2007," said Dieter Vranckx, Managing Director Asia, Africa and Middle East.   American Shipper
