Vietnam appoints UK gsa

Vietnam Airlines has appointed Globe Air Cargo, part of the European Cargo Services (ECS) group, as its exclusive UK gsa.   The new deal is part of the airline’s preparation for the launch of flights to London, possibly in 2009. In the meantime, GAC in the UK will truck cargo to Paris to connect with Vietnam Airlines’ daily B777 services.   From Charles de Gaulle International Airport, the airline operates four flights a week to Ho Chi Minh City and three flights weekly to Hanoi.   Aircargo Asia Pacific
