Zim Announces Third India-Europe Rate Hike

Zim Integrated Shipping Services announced a general rate increase on the westbound trades from India to Europe and the Mediterranean, the second GRI in one-and-a-half months and the third this year.   Starting May 15, the increase will be $250 per 20-foot equivalent unit.   The GRI will apply to all cargo moving from India to ports in North Europe, the Mediterranean, Israel and the Black Sea region.   The Journal of Commerce Online
