AMI, a larAge neutral air freight consolidator, has opened its fifth U.S. office at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, its first U.S. expansion since it acquired UAC and its four U.S. offices in April 2007.
“Texas is attractive to us right now because the market remains relatively unaffected by the current global downturn,” said Peter Burn, AMI’s vice president for the Americas, in a statement.
The Dallas office will be managed by Bryan Moog, an 18-year veteran of the air freight industry.
In addition to the United States, AMI has operations in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Germany.
