Lufthansa Cargo Israel announced that it has resumed cargo flights on the Tel Aviv and Munich route from April 26th. Lufthansa advised that it is resuming flights from Tel Aviv to Munich after a six-year break. In a statement issued by the company it noted that the company will operate four weekly flights on the wide-bodied Airbus A340-330 which can carry 12-15 tons of cargo. The new service will increase by 30% the volume of cargo capacity offered to the Israeli trading community. The flight will depart on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Flight number LH688 departs Munich at 09:45 CET, arriving in Tel Aviv at 14:20. The return flight, LH689 departs Tel Aviv at 15:45 arriving in Munich at 18:45 CET.
