Westport hits the 4M box mark

A China Shipping Container Line box was the four millionth container to pass through Malaysia's Westport complex. The owner of the box was hardly surprising given China's strong export growth, but more impressive was the 17 percent growth Westport's executive director Ruben Emir Gnanalingam predicts the port will achieve. The port hopes to handle a total container throughput of 4.3 million TEUs for fiscal 2007.                                                                               CargonewsAsia
