Peruvian Amazon Line will begin calling Tampa as part of regular liner service between U.S. Gulf ports and South America.
Headquartered in Lima, Peruvian Amazon Line has operated regular liner service between the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Peru for 38 years, focusing on serving ports along the Amazon River.
The service specializes in breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargoes as well as containers. While the service sails every 60 days, Peruvian Amazon Line has plans to increase the service frequency to monthly.
The vessel rotation will be Tampico, Mexico; Houston; Tampa; Cartagena, Colombia; Manaos, Brazil; Leticia, Colombia; and Iquitos, Peru.

"Peruvian Amazon Line is a well-established carrier and this service will provide a valuable direct connection between Mexico and Tampa, and from Tampa to Colombia, Brazil and Peru."
