Cathay Pacific will add a third B747-400 freighter service on its Australia route effective 27 September. The airline will operate a B747-400F Sundays on a Sydney-Melbourne rotation. On Mondays the carrier will operate a B747-400 freighter to Sydney and one to Melbourne. Mike Courtney, cargo manager Australia for Cathay Pacific, said the additional freighter was required to meet strengthening seasonal demand.
