Shenzhen, China-based freighter operator Donghai Airlines has begun a four-times-weekly flight between Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Chengdu.
Zhou Yunda, chief executive of Donghai Airlines said the new route will enhance the flow of cargo between Chengdu and Hong Kong.
"The flights will provide better support to the post-earthquake rehabilitation work at the affected areas as well as re-engineering of the economic development of West China," said Zhou.
In Hong Kong, Hactl has been appointed cargo terminal operator for Donghai.
