Hungarian developer plans new airport

Real estate developer Biggeorge's-NV plans to build a new international airport to compete with the Hungarian capital's main airport, Ferihegy, Reuters reported.   The new facility, Alba Airport, will be built near the city of Szekesfehervar, 60 kilometres southwest of Budapest.   The airport is set to open for international traffic in the first half of 2010.   Biggeorge's-NV, owned by private individuals in Hungary, claims it has a portfolio of development projects valued at more than US$914 million, it said.   CargonewsAsia
