Adelaide Airport is planning a series of major projects which could cost as much as A$900 million and include the relocation of freight companies, air cargo operations and aircraft maintenance to the eastern side of the airport.
It also wants to create a corridor for a future light rail connection to Adelaide CBD.
The “concept plans’’ also include at least two more boarding gates and expanded aircraft parking at the new T1 terminal, a multi-storey car park for about 2000 vehicles to replace the current facilities and a 200-room hotel on part of the car park site.
