The Unions of four ANA subsidiary airlines commenced 24 hour strike action yesterday to express dissatisfaction with the management stance in their spring round of talks. The unions in question are: Air Nippon Crew’s Association, composed of 473 pilots; Air Nippon Network Pilot Union, composed of 57 pilots; Air Next Crew’s Association, composed of 23 pilots and Air Central Pilots’ Union, composed of 52 pilots.
163 flights, accounting for 18.4% of a total of 886 flights operating under the ANA flight code will be affected:
- Cancelled flights: 149, affecting approximately 6050 passengers
- Delayed flights: 14, affecting approximately 1218 passengers
No international flights will be affected.
All domestic and international flights will operate as scheduled from today.
