JAL to cut frequency on international routes

1/22/2009 9:58:12 AM

Japan Airlines Corp (JAL) has said it will reduce the number of its flights from Tokyo to Bangkok, Beijing and Shanghai through March 28 due to declining demand, Dow Jones reported.

For the Tokyo-Bangkok route, the airline known as JAL will cut the number of weekly flights to 14 from 21 starting January 20.

From February 10, JAL will cut the number of flights to Beijing to 14 a week from 19, and Shanghai-bound flights to 21 weekly from 28.
