Singapore Airlines said it has commenced weekly freighter service to Dhaka, Bangladesh, on April 3.
The Boeing 747 freight will depart Singapore and stop in Dhaka, Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, and Brussels, Belgium.
The new service is intended to help exporters to markets in Europe, and the United States and South America, connecting via Brussels. Top Bangladeshi exports include readymade garments, leather products, fresh fruit, vegetables, medicines, textile fabrics, handicrafts, ceramics and tea.
