APL Resumes Services to Aden, Yemen

8/7/2012 11:02:29 AM

Singapore-based container carrier APL has resumed services to and from the Port of Aden, Yemen, after a two-week suspension.

“Since the strike at the Aden Container Terminal has been called off, we are reinstating the Aden call with the scheduled of arrival of the vessel APL Spain at Aden on Aug. 4,” the carrier said.

APL, the liner arm of Neptune Orient Lines, said it was making all efforts to clear up a backlog of “Aden-bound” cargo stranded at Djibouti.
