Lufthansa Cargo cuts fuel surcharge third time

Lufthansa Cargo, will reduce its fuel surcharge to EUR1.15 a kilogram from EUR1.20/kg previously, a person familiar with the matter told Dow Jones.   The reduction will be effective September 8, the person said.   This is the third cut in recent weeks. A few weeks ago, Lufthansa lowered the surcharge to EUR1.25/kg for the first time after a series of fuel surcharge increases, effective as of Monday.
