Alafco Aviation Lease and Finance Company has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines for the lease of eight Airbus A320-200 aircraft increasing the carrier's total number of aircraft to 25, Reuters reported.
The lease term is for a period of eight years. The transaction is the second major deal between the two companies during the past few months.
In total, Saudi Arabian Airlines has leased 17 aircraft and bought eight from Alafco.
The eight aircraft purchased will be delivered between 2009 and 2010.
