Singapore Airlines (SQ) is to cut Asia-Pacific services in the northern winter season to Ho Chi Minh, Seoul, Osaka, Bangalore, Chennai, Amritsar and Penang.
Destinations in the Middle East will get additional services. It will operate a four-times weekly service to Riyadh from 14 December, while Istanbul flights via Dubai will rise from four to six a week.
The changes mean the Singaporean carrier will operate 20 flights a week to Dubai this winter.
SQ also will combine its Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa flights. The Johannesburg service stays daily, but will include an add-on to Cape Town three times a week
