The airline's target audience includes immigrants from Russia and neighboring countries who will make family visits, business people, and Russian tourists to Israel.
Following the reciprocal visa waiver arrangement agreed upon by the governments of Israel and Russia, Israir Airlines and Tourism Ltd. announced it would operate four weekly flights to Moscow from the beginning of November, using a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.
The outward flights to Moscow will operated on Mondays and Fridays with the return flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Some of the return flights will land at Ben Gurion airport and the others at the Ovda airport in Eilat.
