British Airways World Cargo has announced a reduction to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be US$1.15 with effect from September 4.
The fuel surcharge reduction follows a second consecutive week that the fuel index has been below the level 23 threshold. The index was developed by BA World Cargo to provide customers with more information about the calculation of fuel surcharges.
Adam Carson, senior manager revenue management, British Airways World Cargo, said: "As a result of the recent fall in fuel costs we are reducing the fuel surcharge by two levels, in line with our index."
